Sometimes your mood and your brew match up perfectly. I love the bright and zesty coffees, and I know a lot of folks enjoy the heavy & smoky dark roasts, but there’s this lovely in-between zone that we sometimes neglect and this coffee lives there. I didn’t realize it until my first sip, but this is the coffee I needed today. If you’ll forgive the beer comparison, this is the pilsner of coffees. Smooth and mild, with no particular note outshining the others. The aromatics include enticing notes of roasted peanut, leather, soy nut, and praline. The cup is very clean, smooth, and mild with notes of cream, cocoa powder, and lemon zest in addition to the aromatics mentioned above.
