The Gathaithi Factory machining station is managed by the Gathaithi Farmers Cooperative Society, which brings together over 1,100 active members. Together, they own about 143 ha of land in the Nyeri region, historically recognized as a coffee production center in Kenya. Interesting fact: our coffee comes from the microlot program (small batches), which in Kenya are identifiable at the station or individual farm level (if possible) and selected on the basis of an infusion rating. At Gathaithi Factory, microlots are created from fruits from various manufacturers delivered to the station one day.
