About This Coffee
The Costa Rica Amapola Tarrazu comes from several plantations from the Tarrazzu region. The coffee beans grow at an altitude of 1400 – 1500 meters and consist of the Catuai and Caturra varieties. The processing method is Washed, resulting in a clear coffee with chocolate, apple and citrus flavors. The name Amapola is the local name for hibiscus. The hibiscus is a tropical flower that paints the landscape in the nasummer in vivid shades of red and pink.
