About This Coffee

We couldn’t be happier to welcome the new Hti Kham harvest! Like last year’s crop, this coffee bursts with red fruit impressions, blending strawberries and nervy red cherries. The ethnic Pa-O farmers of Hti Kham village in Hopong region, Shan State, formed the Indigo Mountain Co-Op in 2018. By participating in USAID-WinRock’s coffee development program, they were able to transition from illicit poppy growing to specialty coffee production. Under head farmer Khun Sein Shwe, the village quickly gained renown, winning the Overall & Best Natural category in Myanmar’s 2020 coffee cupping competition.
