We would describe this coffee like a super high-quality dark chocolate bar. It has a velvety texture, deep, dark chocolate notes, caramel and brown sugar sweetness, and a touch of tangerine acidity. This coffee was produced by Irineo Ramirez, in Mataquescuintla, Guatemala. Irineo is a member of the "Cafe Colis Resistencia" - a group of coffee producers in Mataquescuintla. They are battling a multinational mining company that was built without the consent of the local Indigenous Xinca population.
