What we are tasting: As a honey/natural blend, this coffee is balanced yet adventurous. We tasted many things in several roast profiles but the leaders in the cup for us were strawberry hard candy and cherry wine. As the cup cools, we even found a hint of watermelon! About this coffee: This coffee, known as the Primitivo Blend by Ana Maria Donneys is the first process blend coffee we have ever sourced or roasted. A honey/natural combination was created in honor of her grandfather Primitivo Correal Barrios. Yellow Rooster worked with Ana back in 2023 and the second her coffees hit their offering sheet, they disappeared. Ana's dedication to creating amazing coffees is clear and you will understand once you brew this beautiful coffee up!
