We're releasing our first coffee of 2021 from Honduras. It comes from the legendary coffee farmers Marysabel Caballero & Moisés Herrera (if you live in the NC Triangle area you've probably had their coffee as Finca El Puente). Marysabel recently purchased Finca Los Lirios from her father Fabio and this coffee comes from that farm. We purchased this coffee through our friend Benjamin Paz and his trading company San Vicente. It was imported into the US and delivered to us through Olam Specialty Coffee. This particular lot is entirely comprised of the Catuai variety, which is commonly cultivated in Honduras. The flavor profile is extremely approachable and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. We taste subtle citrus notes of orange. There is a sweet nuttiness reminiscent of warm pecan pie. The finish of the coffee is milky chocolate. Please enjoy this delicious coffee from Honduras!
