About This Coffee

This is a super interesting coffee. From the aroma, I picked up a black cherry cola sort of smell. I think think the sweet lemon-lime is the star of the cup and really comes alive as the coffee cools a bit. Then, and I was surprised by this, there’s a baker’s chocolate-dryness on the finish. This Kenya is really layered and complex coffee that I’m really enjoying. Producer Information: Located only three miles from Kiambu Town, Ibonia Estate spans nearly 200 hectares – 60% of which is natural forest, wetlands, rivers and wildlife. The rest is dedicatd to coffee, which is worked by around 200 workers during the harvest. The soil is rich and red Kikuyu loam, the genetics are dominated by SL28s, and the management practices are top-notch. This is a small operation, but I want to make my coffee as available as possible. To stay compliant, I am not currently shipping coffee. Sorry for the inconvenience. Here are the current options: East Side Delivery — $5.00 Sunday afternoon delivery to 45245, 45102, 45255, 45244, 45157, and 45230.
