About This Coffee

Deiro Garcia is one of the most innovative coffee producers in the Huila region, in southern Colombia. He has a farm in Pitalito and since he is a big fan of Harry Potter, he gave his farm the name Lord Voldemort. Not only is the name crazy, but also its access to coffee production and processing. Deiro has been experimenting with fermentation for 3 years now, has done many tests with some outstanding results and thus developed his process for processing his coffee on his farm. He attended courses in microbiology and learned there that certain bacteria and yeast strains help to produce different coffee profiles. So he started to reproduce various fruit and vegetable enzymes, his own bacteria and yeasts.
