What we love about coffees like this is the context they provide. Its sits right at the top of our Taste Guide for its uniquely tangy profile. Unlike other origins, Kenyans in particular highlight a unique acidity. It’s one of their most prominent aspects. While there is a range, you can expect an acidity moving further past orange and grapefruit—what we’re calling gooseberry. It’s also reminiscent of black tea—with an herbaceous quality. We really enjoy Kenyans like Chorongi for what it means to be a “classic.”
