San Nicolas has a sparkling tartaric acidity, juicy stone fruit, and elegant floral notes that make this small lot a stunning example of the coffees produced in Amazonas, Peru. Rodriguez de Mendoza is a distant province in the amazon forest of peru, characterized by lush vegetation, high elevations, and weather that is humid, foggy, and chilly. The various farms in the province are 2 to 3 hours away on trail roads from the capital, San Nicolas, and start at a minimum elevation of 1600 masl.
