Thou Mayest Coffee Roasters
Kansas City, MO, USA
Producers from twelve main coffee village farms bring their coffee cherries to the Gasharu Washing Station, located on the Rwanda Congo Nile Mountain Chain. The Gasharu Coffee Company has developed a strong coffee culture and tradition over the past thirty years and is tightly woven into the fabric of the local community. Women make up 70% of the company's workforce which includes 6 full time locals and upwards of 150 part-time workers during peak season. They promote high quality coffee and good living standards of coffee farmers in their community. Six fermentation tanks and 100 raised drying beds are used to process these amazing beans. The mountainous elevation, soil, and climate of the Nyamasheke District are ideal for coffee production. To produce more fruity, delicate notes, the cherry was left on the bean to dry on raised beds out in the Rwandan sun, imparting notes of light caramel jamminess, strawberry balsamic, and a bright and vibrant mouthfeel. Let the coffee cool to room temperature to reveal the sweeter notes
