Tanzania Zanzibar Peaberry cupping flavor notes of tangerine, cranberry, finishes with a stone fruit of apricot. In cup we experienced a silky body and bright acidity. In addition to tangerine, there is also a lemon lime acidity. Body includes green grape, watermelon and cantaloupe melon. Tanzania Zanzibar Peaberry is a premium blend from high-altitude estates in Southern Tanzania (often Lunji, Utengule and Kanji Lanji Estates) and Northern Tanzania (Mondul, Burka, Ngila and Lyamungu Estates). Varietal of Kent And Bourbon. Kent has widely thought to be a natural mutation of Typica discovered in India – although, some accounts have it being deliberately bred in Kenya around 1911. From the 1920s onward, Kent was planted widely in India and was introduced to Kenya, where it is now common, in Meru in 1934. The variety has high productivity and partial resistance to coffee leaf rust. Bourbon is one of the most cultivars, Bourbons journey - Ethiopia > Martinique or Bourbon Island (Réunion Island)> Brazil> East Africa (Kenya)> West Africa (Ethiopia)
