About This Coffee
There’s a calm confidence to this cup. The first sip brings dark chocolate richness – thick, reassuring, like a square melting slowly on the tongue. Then comes a gently aromatic hint of orange, like peel warmed between your fingers. The medium roast keeps everything in balance, with a smooth, rounded body and a clean finish that invites another sip. El Pino is a small, family-run farm in San Juanillo, Intibucá, sitting high at 1,750 metres, where days are bright and nights cool. Secundino Masariegos began here at sixteen, guided by his father, and has spent decades learning this land. Cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness, then slow-dried in solar dryers to bring a deeply syrupy sweetness to your cup.
