Dison Kareng is the producer of this delightful coffee which is grown on the eastern edge of Mount Elgon in Uganda. Dison experimented with various processing methods until he settled on Natural Anaerobic. In summary, this treatment requires the storage of coffee fruits (mainly from SL28 and SL14 varieties) in hermetically sealed tanks without oxygen. This increases the fruity and alcoholic flavors in the fruit. The final stage finds the cherries drying under the sun until they reach the desired sugar level. The passion shown by Dison and his team for coffee earned him the 1st prize in 2021 (cupping competition organized by the British High Commission in Uganda), paving the way for him to conquer the UK market!
