Sweet sunshine in a cup, the next natural process coffee in our lineup is Shoondisa from Guji, Ethiopia. If you like clean, fruity naturals, this has your name on it! Some of Guji's best, it's time to welcome back naturals from Ture Waji's Dambi Udo Washing Station to our offering. This year, we'll feature two stellar lots: Shoondisa and Bookisa. In November 2022, we had the opportunity to meet up with Ture Waji in Addis. The grower, processor, and exporter behind Dambi Udo / Sookoo Coffee Exports, Ture had worked with our import partner, Osito's David Stallings, since well before they worked in their current roles. In fact, Osito was the very first buyer to ever contract from Sookoo when Ture started his own business. A combined lot from smallholder farmers living in Shoondisa, a sub-kebele of the Shakiso woreda, Shoondisa is THE BOMB. Floral, silky smooth, and oh-so-pretty with notes of nectarine and strawberry, Shoondisa shines!
