About This Coffee

Danilo Sánchez began over 15 years ago with coffee cultivation. As a young man, he helped his father in the family's coffee fields and learned the craft. In 2009, his father handed him his own piece of land. With passion, Danilo planted his first coffee plants and reinvested the initial earnings to expand his cultivation area to today's five hectares. Danilo is the third generation of coffee farmers in his family. Coffee cultivation is not only a tradition but also a necessity, as the family lives exclusively from coffee. However, the work is challenging, with labor shortages and the effects of climate change affecting their crops. Financially, they do not see themselves as particularly successful, but coffee cultivation secures their livelihood. Danilo's goal is to provide his children with a better life, with good education, healthcare, and nutrition. Every year, his family strives to produce high-quality coffee, and Danilo is grateful for the support of buyers, which is so important for their livelihood.
