That gives the coffee its sweet taste. The farmers of the Mamahuaca Golden Honey contacted Pronatur in 2001 to get their coffee for a fair price on the international market. From this, in 2006 the Association Asociacion Local de Productores Ecol?gicos Mamahuaca was founded. With technical assistance and access to export markets, our Mamahuaca Golden Honey coffee farmers can sell their coffee on the market for a fairer price. This way they get a fairer price for coffee by joining forces.
