The Kebel Aricha Mill is owned and operated by Surafel Birhanu and his family. His mill is supported by a group of approximately 700 family owned farms in the area surrounding the mill. Under Surafel’s management, the washed process is undertaken with great care toward both the meticulous sorting of ripe cherry. The result is a beautifully rendition of the washed process that is full of character. After repose, we seal this coffee in Grain-Pro barrier packaging at origin in Ethiopia and then send on its way to our Roastery where we preserve the green coffee under hermetic seal until it is roasted as part of our Barrington Green Seal Program© .
