In addition to his practical knowledge, Brayan also holds a degree as a computer technician and is on track to obtain a second degree in agronomy. With this higher education background, he is able to view the industry from a more modern perspective. Brayan quickly recognized the need to transition from a more traditional model to one focused on quality. For the past 5 years, he has been applying his knowledge to improve his production at every level each year. Since making this shift, he has been submitting his coffees to several regional competitions where his lots consistently stand out among the top 10.
