This sweet, clean and juicy coffee gets its name from the Sumburu word for the Bull Elephant. It’s an incredibly high-quality blend combining the production of many smallholder farmers, all producing 85+ coffee. In the cup, its classic Kenyan profile of juicy berries and complex acidity speaks for itself. This coffee is grown in Central and Western Kenya, and processed at the Kahawa Bora Millers. It underwent rigorous quality control from start to finish, resulting in an incredibly consistent and desirable cup. When roasting this coffee, we’ve extended the development phase whilst maintaining the same overall roast time to account for the coffee's high density. The result is a beautiful sugary sweetness, a vibrant acidity, a smooth buttery body, and a well-defined structure. What a cup!
