Well, this sure is a treat to share! While put together specifically for the holidays, this is truly one of the most delicious blends we've had the pleasure to release. Together the components are incredibly resonant. The base, El Mezcal from Chiapas, has been a wonderful coffee for us this year, with a deep sweetness that is very distinct. The accent is a wild ride, Cordillera de Fuego from Costa Rica, an experimental "termico" process by producer Luis Campos. "Termico" comprises of a semi-washed process, with heat applied during fermentation which envelops the taste in jammier and livelier fruit. It's really wild on its own. Put together, we can't believe how much we love this blend! Whether you are enjoying black or with cream, pulled as a shot, brewed as a press or a pour over, its individual highlights will shine regardless. It screams for pie and cozy attire, good company, and great memories.
