About This Coffee

Led by women, the Ketiara cooperative is located in the north of the island of Sumatra. 20 years ago the president transformed cherries into green beans then in 2009 the cooperative was created, counting today nearly 900 members cultivating coffee and fruits on 840 hectares of land. All the coffee produced by the cooperative is 100% organic and grows in natural shade, producing high quality coffee.
