Dark as Dark was originally created to satisfy a customer who was craving a dark roast profile coffee - something darker than anything else we offered. We decided that if we were going to do a dark roast we would do it well, avoiding the burnt, charred flavors often associated with that style of roast. The components of the blend change seasonally, but we always ensure that despite the dark roast profile, Dark as Dark is sweet, creamy, and chocolatey in the cup. Because of this, Dark as Dark has consistently been one of our most popular coffees. There is something to be said for a straight forward product that says everything you need to know right there in the name. Dark as Dark appears in coffee shops, restaurants, ice cream, retail shelves, and in so many home coffee makers throughout the US, and that has a lot to do with how easy it is to understand and how great it tastes in your cup.
