About This Coffee
Colombia is known for a rich volcanic soil as well as shade-grown cultivation. But what really separates them from their neighboring countries is the alternation of wet and dry seasons, allowing Colombia to have two coffee harvests. Narino is one of the regions Tree House often sources from to find some of our favorite farms, producers, and varietals, which usually arrive in our roastery towards the beginning of the year. Tree House is fortunate to be working with Evelio Bados on his farm of 35 years, El Naranjo, since 2021, particularly with this white honey process. This process removes nearly 100% of its pulp, leaving a thin later to be dried on the beans for a more sweetly complex and slightly fruit forward cup. We hope you enjoy this faithful and familiar offering - jammed with notes of black cherry and rose hip.
