Thanks to the energy of our agency in Colombia and our partners at Origin Coffee Lab, we are very proud to present this local coffee from Utcubamba, in the Amazonas region. This region is home to a very rich ecosystem, and the coffees are produced under shade. The producers in this region are highly motivated to work on quality, in order to enhance and protect their environment. Particular attention has been paid to post-harvest processing of this blend, to improve the cup profile of this coffee. After harvesting and pulping, it ferments for between 18 and 36 hours. It is then washed and dried on a patio for around twelve days. In this very humid region, that's quite a feat!
