About This Coffee

Frontera de Acevedo is a regional blend of coffees from a variety of producers in and around the town of Acevedo, Colombia. Located in the celebrated Huila region, Acevedo has been a central buying region for our importer friends at Collaborative Coffee Source, where they have drawn attention to the quality here with an annual auction helping to drive up prices for the producers here. The coffees from this region are indeed delicious, and Frontera de Acevedo is a great representation of the typical profile, with plenty of body and notes of plum and black cherry. We push development slightly here, settling on lower acid, chocolate driven profile that pairs well with milk.
