About This Coffee

Savor our Peruvian coffee with a gourmet nose and a nice chocolate finish on the palate! Peru is one of the most important countries exporting Arabica coffee in the world, a quality Arabica, in particular thanks to its alternating mountain ranges and valleys. First a coffee producer for domestic consumption in the 19th century, coffee growing, and in particular coffee exports, now occupies a strategic place in the Peruvian economy. Most Peruvian coffees are organic. Our El Plato coffee from Peru grows in the province of Utcumbamba, in the Amazonas region of northern Peru. The coffee trees are grown in the shade, at a rather high altitude between 1300m and 1800m, and produce very high quality Arabicas. Our El Plato is certified organic and Ecocert.
