Tamiru has previously secured the first and fifth positions in the 2021 Ethiopia Cup of Excellence (COE). His beans boast a robust flavor profile, albeit at a relatively higher price point. Collaborating with around 200 farmers in the Bensa region of the Sidama area, the cultivation takes place at a high altitude of approximately 2480 meters. The beans themselves are smaller compared to the typical Ethiopian variety. The processing involves a slow sun-drying method, and for the washed process, traditional washing is employed. The drying is carried out using raised beds. Overall, the coffee exhibits a rich fruity flavor and a refreshing floral aroma.
