This coffee comes from the farm Las Margaritas 26 which is located in the mountains of Santa Maria de Dota. The region is Tarrazú in Costa Rica. The farm is run by Emmanuel Solis. This year we have selected the most luxurious botanical variety of arabica, namely Geisha. At the top of the farm, at a staggering 2000 masl, Emmanuel grows this geisha. After the harvest, the berries are sun-dried on raised beds with shells and pulp on, so-called berry drying or natural. Geisha does not taste like any other coffee in the world and if it is treated this way, it tastes divinely good. Flavors such as jasmine flower, strawberry, exotic fruits and caramel appear. Well structured and complex. Or as a good friend and coffee roaster put it all: "A shut-up-coffee". We can only agree. It is among the best coffee we have ever encountered.
