Beneficio San Marcos (BSM), located in the Sensenti Valley in the department of Ocotepeque, has been a leading cooperative in the burgeoning Honduran specialty coffee industry since its formation in 2013. Beyond its own members, BSM also provides extensive resources to a network of nearly 1,100 other producers through relationships with other cooperatives. This offering is made up of contributions from 200 farmers benefiting directly from BSM’s services, including education, financing, quality control, milling, exporting, and marketing. Look for a sweet and balanced profile with notes of stewed pear, brown sugar, and baker's chocolate in the cup.
