About This Coffee

Finca Verna Potrero is part of a protected agroforestry system in Yambrasbamba. Cesar Augusto Cotrina purchased 5 hectares of land in 2016 and has been developing 2.5 hectares for growing coffee, beans, corn, and wheat. The remainder of the land is filled with native trees such as guava, citrus, cedar, and other trees typical to an Amazonian landscape. One of his plans is to increase value by planting other highly desired varieties such as yellow Caturra and Bourbon.
