On the cupping table, it stood out. When we tasted it, we knew we had to buy it. Even next to the Sudan Rume and Cerro Azul Gesha it was mind-blowing! The variety Wush Wush arrived in Colombia from Ethiopia about 30 years ago. It’s similar in physical characteristics to that of Gesha. Furthermore, it is also similar in cup profile with jasmine, rose, lemon grass and stone fruit flavour notes and sweetness, with a complex acidity but with a more pronounced body than Gesha. We love our partners and friends at Café Granja la Esperanza in Colombia. Of course, they produce spectacular coffee, but the Team CGLE are also super-sweet, (just like the coffee). A fantastic expression of this relationship is our latest release from CGLE.
