From the region of Tolima, ASOBRIS producer association in Colombia has 42 members who cultivate Caturra, Colombia, TĂpica and Castillo coffee varieties between 1,500-1,800 masl. Their goal is to find new markets for their coffee and to improve social conditions for their members and communities. The cooperative is certified Fairtrade and Organic. After harvest, the coffee cherries are pulped, fermented for 18 to 24 hours, washed, wet milled and dried on patios for approximately 15 days, and finally, dried for a short time in a mechanical dryer to ensure consistency. The result is a delicious Colombian coffee with a rich flavor profile.
