This season's Holiday Blend is a celebration of specialty coffees sourced from around the world. These coffees are not only great representations of coffees that come out of these origins in profiles but also in ethics and practices - they speak to our values in honoring and building long-standing relationships and forging new ones. Both washed and natural coffee components from Ethiopia, Indonesia, and Costa Rica harmoniously come together in Holiday Blend, showcasing notes of deep chocolate cherry, pear, and candied pecan, to create a beautiful, well-balanced cup of cheer. he cherry and dark chocolate notes come from the Guji Highlands’ components because the coffee is natural, and its natural sugars during processing really bring out a chocolate cherry flavor. Gayo has high acidity and herbaceousness, which lend a bit of raisin notes. Typical coffees from Indonesia have a sweet earthiness that we felt was most comparable to candied pecan. Jose Alvarado is a very clean, classic Costa Rican coffee. It is bright and balanced and gives us the lighter notes of pear, which shine through with the notes of chocolate cherry and candied pecan to create a full-bodied and well-balanced cup of cheer.  Altogether, these coffees not only showcase who Verve is but showcases specialty coffee globally in - represents specialty coffee on a global scale - bringing all of these moving parts into one cup for you to celebrate at home.
