The Five Points blend has undergone a development process spanning nearly half a decade. The outcome is an exceptional raspberry fruit-dominated composition, complemented by a pleasant milk chocolate sweetness that counterbalances the fruit like acidity, resulting in a harmonious blend. The fusion of two contrasting elements, which possess their own distinct merits, yields a formidable union. Our blending philosophy is to accentuate the finest qualities of each element. In this instance, we have chosen a Natural Brazil and a Washed Colombia. However, the intricacies and variability of coffee profiles intensify when considering seasonality. As the seasons transition, so do the characteristics of each coffee. To mitigate this challenge and ensure consistency, every component is subjected to a unique roast profile, refined through an extensive series of roasting trials. The Brazil is roasted to emphasise body and chocolatey sweetness, while the Colombia is roasted to highlight its vibrant sweet raspberry acidity. Our roasting team thinks this blend truly excels when used for espresso. However, if you opt to incorporate milk, you will be treated to hints of caramel and milk chocolate.
