Party is our rotating selection of naturally processed coffee hailing from areas throughout Southern Ethiopia. The natural process began in Ethiopia because of limited access to water and the dry climate. Southern Ethiopia is a prime location for natural coffees to shine. With high elevations, dry climate, and rare landrace varieties, these coffees can be wildly juicy and compelling when processed well. Our current rendition of Party comes from Kayon Mountain Estate in Shakisso, Guji. The high elevation and dry climate come through in this floral, juicy, and fresh berry-forward cup of coffee. To produce high-quality naturals, the fruit is dried on raised beds, sorted, and moved regularly for two to three weeks while the coffee is drying under direct sunlight. The art of producing great natural coffee is beginning with only ripe fruit and tending to the coffee throughout the duration of the drying process in order to achieve the desired flavor. In the cup, Party is filled with expression and fun as you sip.
