Pact Coffee
London, UK
It was a challenge at first, but Epiphanie Mukashyaka knew that by reducing the number of people in the supply chain - between farmer and exporter - she could pay more to each smallholder farmer in a cooperative. She became the first woman to own a coffee washing station in Rwanda and has since been named in Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government and inspired countless women (including her own daughters) to become more involved in the industry.
