Produced together with Bekele Karchara. Sweet and full-bodied coffee with notes of ripe plum, cantaloupe, and bergamot. The coffee is produced at 2,350 masl in the Murago area of Sidama without electricity or water. Quality bonus of 250% above market price. Harvested between November and January using Anaerobic Natural process. Varieties include 74-158 Kurume. Grown and processed by Bekele Karchara who works with his own coffees and those of 75 other local farmers. The cherries develop slowly due to the high altitude resulting in a complex coffee with lots of aroma. Bekele Karchara runs several small coffee processing sites in the same area. The highest site where this coffee is grown and processed is located at 2,350 masl in the Murago area of Sidama. Slow cherry development at this altitude results in a complex coffee with rich aroma. Production is eco-friendly without electricity or water, emphasizing nature preservation. Bekele collaborates with 75 local farmers and has a lifelong involvement in coffee production.
