Faysel Abdosh has worked in the coffee industry for almost 20 years. His incredible attention to detail and immaculate processing methods have resulted in his coffees winning consecutive places in the Cup of Excellence competition each year. In this year's competition, its natural anaerobic coffee achieved a high score of 87.59, earning it 24th place. This impressive batch contains carefully selected coffees from 500 smallholders from two regions of Ethiopia. In total, the farm collects about 900,000 kilograms of red cherries per year, which are compiled into natural and natural anaerobic processed coffees. This year's 2021 Natural Anaerobic Batch is an incredible representation of the region's spectacular terroir and Faysel's unique processing techniques. It exhibits a distinguished smoothness that is recognized only in the highest quality coffees in Ethiopia. It's balanced, yet complex, and has a sparkling acidity with a distinct clarity that makes it one of the most anticipated batches from our 2021 harvest selection.
