About This Coffee

Coffea Diversa Guatemala it is born from the shared vision between Jose Padilla, coffee geneticist and variety curator, and Gonzalo Hernandez, coffee grower and processing specialist. Both have combined experience, passion and science to create a unique farm in the world, located in Suchitán, Jutiapa. After years of work in the original botanical garden of Coffea Diversa in Costa Rica, they decided to take their knowledge to Guatemalan soil. Today they manage a farm with an almost scientific approach: more than 850 varietals grown with total traceability, experimental processes (double anaerobic, controlled natural, honey complexes), and a deep respect for origin. His work not only seeks excellence in the cup, but also preserves and studies the genetic diversity of Arabica coffee. The microlots born from Coffea Diversa are extraordinary, the result of a carefully selected ecosystem, variety and method. In each grain there is research, biodiversity and a lot of flavor.
