About This Coffee

This selection comes from Muranga County, on the slopes of the Aberdare Mountain Range. This region generally produces some of our favorite and highest-scoring profiles! In the cup we find a classic Kenyan profile of blackberry, cranberry, and hibiscus. The Kangurumai washing station has 635 active members who annually deliver their harvests. The station is located just north of Kiambu, which historically has produced our favorite Kenyan profiles. However, because of Kiambu's proximity to Nairobi, and an increase in land prices, coffee is becoming increasingly difficult to find. We're excited to explore the potential of neighboring Muranga further.
