Guatemala the way we like it: thick, sweet, intense with fruit balanced with plenty of cocoa. In the taste of this naturally processed coffee you will feel red fruits: mainly cherries, wild rose and cranberries with the addition of red tea and a large dose of cocoa. Great in espresso machines and coffee makers, but it will also be delicious, sweet and balanced (without excessive acidity) in the transfer. The beans came to us from Finca La Bolsa, a farm founded by Jorge Vides in 1958 in La Libertad in the Huehuetenango region. At first, there was only wild forest on the plot, but under the trees, Jorge Vides began planting Bourbon and Caturra Arabica. The cultivation turned out to be very successful, so that today it is continued by his family. From the very beginning, Jorge Vides was also very involved in the life of the local community. in 1980, he founded a school (it still works today!), which bears his name. A few years later, Anacafe (Guatemala's National Association of Coffee Producers) recognized him for his success in growing Arabica. Today, the Vides family works with local organizations and shares their knowledge of high-quality coffee cultivation with other farmers. Jorge's heirs also care about the natural environment, protect the surrounding nature, forest and water resources.
