A blend inspired by Edgar Allan Poe and his life and work in the great city of Richmond. Poe wrote for the Southern Literary Messenger during part of his life in Richmond. The offices for that publication were just a few blocks away from our café in Shockoe Bottom. This is a blend for those who like things a bit more dark and mysterious like Poe himself. The House of Usher Blend features two coffees selected for their characteristic ability to take on beautifully rich notes with a bit of extra roast development time and sugar caramelization.
