About This Coffee

A perennial favorite is back for year four. We didn't get to travel to Oaxaca this year, unfortunately, but were still able to sample several lots from Guadalupe Miramar, which sits within the Santa Maria Yucuhiti municipality in the Mixteca zone in the mountainous west of the state of Oaxaca. Mixteca is the name of both the primary indigenous group and the local primary language in Miramar and surrounding communities in Yucuhiti. We dearly love these coffees and this place, people, food, Mezcales, and even the expats who make their homes and careers in Oaxaca. And so do you, apparently, as Sierra Mixteca coffees are Bluebeard's biggest single origin offering for several years running, reflecting in our deep commitment to the coffees of Oaxaca for 2021 and beyond.
