Vidal, or Café Capitan for short, is a producer organization that unites 174 women and 326 men from five municipalities that border the El Triunfo Biosphere. The region is well known for its impressive lush slopes and biodiversity. The producers of Café Capitan work with strict organic standards to cause minimal interference with the flora and fauna of the biosphere. Most members are descendants of the Mam culture, integrating their ancestral techniques into their coffee production.
