Crecert: Seeds of Change in the West of Huila The Origens in Los Pinos In the lush mountains of the west of Huila, where the air smells of fertile land and the horizon is dyed green, the CrecerT project was born. On a farm called Los Pinos, in La Plata, Huila, Yaqueline Hernández, with his vision and passion for coffee, he began a revolution. His dream was simple but powerful: to transform coffee production, not only on his estate but throughout the region. The Purpose of CrecerT Yaqueline knew that the quality of the coffee is in the hands of those who grow it. With CrecerT, he sought to show other local producers that, with the right techniques and a focus on quality, they could not only improve their crops, but also their lives. The purpose of CreatingT was clear: to teach, improve, and thrive together. A Movement that Grows What Begins as a project on a farm became a movement. Producers from across the region came together, attracted by the promise of better coffee and a better life. Under the guidance of Yaqueline and CrecerT, these producers began to experiment and learn, sharing their successes and challenges. The Fruit of the Strength The results soon appeared. The region's cafes, under the influence of CrecerT, improved markedly in quality. Each grain reflected the effort, dedication and shared knowledge among producers. But there was one achievement that stood out among all: the Red Bourbon. The Red Bourbon - A Jewel of Huila This coffee, emblematic of the project, was proof of the success of CrecerT. A Red Bourbon, whose fruity and sweet taste reminiscent of the mango, became the project's banner. It was more than a coffee; it was a history of work, community and transformation. In love with La Plata, Huila Yaqueline, with a cup of her precious Red Bourbon in hand, invited everyone to try it. "I hope you enjoy it and fall in love with La Plata, Huila," he said with a smile. And many did, finding in every sip a history of change, community and a brighter future for coffee producers in West Huila. This story captures the essence of CrecerT: a project that, beyond the production of coffee, represents the transformation of a community and the power of collective work and shared learning to improve the quality of life.
