The name "Arabica" finds its roots in the birthplace of coffee, Ethiopia. The Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee is a prime example of this connection, boasting a delicate body, bright acidity and floral aroma. The coffee is grown by smallholders in the Yirgacheffe region, a place of fertile soil and high elevation. The coffee is handpicked, machine pulped, and undergoes anaerobic fermentation before washing, and then sun-dried on raised beds for 7 to 10 days.
