We always feel a sense of relief when fresh crop Ethiopia starts hitting the menu again. Typically we see coffees from the western part of the country start arriving first, such as this offering from Telila washing station in Jimma. We worked with our friends at Osito Coffee to bring in this really fantastic washed offering called Kola. The coffee itself is loaded with intense cherry and stone fruit qualities with a pleasant sweetness and just a hint of that black tea quality characteristic of Ethiopia. Telila is a private washing station owned by Mike Mamo, who purchased it back in 2019. While they're only in their third harvest, this one is its best yet.
