About This Coffee

East Africa’s highly desired and distinctive offering, big aromatics consisting of flowers and fruit. Sun-dried and naturally processed, yielding a coffee that is swirling with notes of berries and wine. SCFCU was founded in 2001 to represent coffee-producing cooperatives throughout the Sidamo Zone of Southern Ethiopia. Today, SCFCU has grown to represent 53 primary cooperative societies and over 80,000 farmers (smallholders). Coffee is shade grown under the canopies of indigenous trees among staple food crops.
